March Break Kick-Off Workshop

The Scottish Rite, Hamilton
The Niagara Hamilton Branch alongside the Ontario Youth Pipe Band are organizing a one day March Break Kick-Off camp for players 18 and under. There will be morning sessions for pipes, snare, bass and tenor, then a craft activity followed by lunch, and then a further group band session.

There will be a professional contest in the evening that the OYPB will perform at to open the night's events. Many of the instructors from the day will also be performing.

A $20 deposit per attendee is required to attend the workshop

If funds remain after the workshop we plan to reimburse some amount to attendees on the day. This is not a guarantee, the budget is not finalized.
- Attendees must be age 18 or younger on the date of the workshop. If a player is 19 or older they do not qualify
- All attendees are invited to return at 6:30pm to participate in the professional contest. The opening performance will start at 7:00pm
- A prize will be awarded for best craft at the professional contest. Attendee must be present to collect the prize.
- Workshop registration closes March 11th at noon
